Cats with diabetic ketosis or ketoacidosis DK(A) require intensive glucose monitoring. The aim of this study was to assess the agreement between a portable blood glucose meter (PBGM) and a flash glucose monitoring system (FGMS; FreeStyle Libre 2.0 Abbott) measuring interstitial glucose in cats with DK(A).

Here, we assessed CD200, CD47, CD200R and SIRPα expression with qPCR and immunohistochemistry in multiple sclerosis (MS) normal-appearing cortical grey matter (NAGM), normal-appearing white matter (NAWM), cortical grey matter (GM) lesions and perilesional GM, and compared this to control GM and white matter (WM), to investigate possible altered control of microglia in MS. In MS NAGM, CD200 expression is lower compared with control GM, specifically in cortical layers 1 and 2, and CD200 expression in NAGM negatively correlates with the cortical lesion rate.

Research has shown that personal stigmatizing attitudes limit managers' efforts towards employees with MHPs, but knowledge is lacking regarding stigma in social contexts (contextual stigma) and different types of possible preventive actions. This study investigates personal stigmatizing attitudes and three contextual stigma layers (employee, collegial, organizational) and different types of possible actions to prevent SA of employees with MHPs.

This raises the possibility of employing adjuvants to enhance immunogenicity and protection. Early IFNγ production is a hallmark of effective vaccine immunogenicity in adults serving as a biomarker that may predict effective adjuvanticity.
