Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) claims 900,000 lives per year. Colonoscopy offers reliable detection, but with low patient adherence rates. To significantly reduce CRC incidence and mortality, a more convenient screening measure for advanced precancerous lesions (APL) and CRC is urgently needed.

Unlabelled: Copious amounts of methane, a major constituent of greenhouse gases currently driving climate change, are emitted by livestock, and efficient methods that curb such emissions are urgently needed to reduce global warming. When fed to cows, the red seaweed (AT) can reduce enteric methane emissions by up to 80%, but the achieved results can vary widely. Livestock produce methane as a byproduct of methanogenesis, which occurs during the breakdown of feed by microbes in the rumen.

Ischemic heart disease (IHD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in both genders; however, young women fare the worst, likely reflecting the more complex spectrum of IHD in women when compared to men. Substantial sex-based differences exist in the underlying risk factors, risk enhancers, presentation, diagnosis, and pathophysiology of IHD that are mainly attributed to the influence of female sex hormones. This article reviews the spectrum of IHD including obstructive epicardial coronary artery disease (CAD), myocardial infarction with no obstructive coronary artery disease, ischemia with no obstructive coronary artery disease, spontaneous coronary artery dissection, coronary microvascular dysfunction, vasospastic angina, and coronary thrombosis/embolism that occur in women throughout various stages of their life cycle.

Introduction Heart failure accounts for 1-2% of overall healthcare costs. While the link between re-hospitalization and mortality is unclear, care pathways that standardize inpatient management and establish outpatient follow-up improve patient outcomes and reduce morbidity. Aim To implement a comprehensive interdisciplinary care pathway for heart failure patients with the goal of optimizing inpatient management and improving transitions of care.

Paragangliomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors that arise from chromaffin-containing tissue. Surgical resection and/or radiation are used for locoregional disease, and reduction of tumor burden with systemic therapy is reserved for metastatic disease. Iobenguane I-131, somatostatin analog (octreotide), and Sunitinib are noncytotoxic options for treatment, while cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and dacarbazine (CVD) and temozolomide are often used as initial chemotherapy options as studies have shown that they offer some tumor response.
