We demonstrate a technique to stabilize the emission from a 3.4-THz quantum-cascade laser against power drifts, using a recently developed photonic integrated circuit (PIC) structure formed by coupling a racetrack resonator with a ridge waveguide. This structure enables a dynamic power-control range of ±15% and locking over >600 s using a proportional-integral control loop.

Among these, 4% Pd on fumed silica (4%Pd/f-SiO) showed remarkable results, achieving almost 98% furfural (FFR) conversion with ∼89% selectivity and 87% yield to cyclopentanone at 165 °C and 500 psig H pressure. More interestingly, the fumed-silica-supported catalyst tuned the selectivity toward the rearrangement product, i.

The as-fabricated amorphous nanofibres resulted in good crystalline continuous nanofibres through calcination. Dy -doped ZnO nanofibres were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) light spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and photoluminescence (PL).

These fibers were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) and photoluminescence (PL). Spectral analysis of PVDF/Eu and PS/Eu nanofibers was based on their emission spectra.
