Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Objective: to analyze trends in PROMs improvement and recovery kinetics following transforaminal endoscopic lumbar discectomy and foraminotomy (TELD).
Summary Of Background Data: As TELDs become an increasingly common alternative to fusions for lateral disc herniations, it is important to understand patients' postoperative recovery timelines to manage patient expectations.
Introduction: We sought to assess the variations in practice metrics and billing practices among US Medical Graduates (USMGs) and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) in surgical oncology who serve a fee-for-service population.
Methods: Medicaid Services Medicare fee-for-service provider utilization and payment files were used to obtain publicly available data between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021. Comparisons were conducted using the t-test for parametric variables and Wilcoxon rank-sum for nonparametric variables.
Background: Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) inhibitors have significantly improved outcomes for patients with FGFR-altered cholangiocarcinoma, leading to their regulatory approval in multiple countries. However, as with many targeted therapies, acquired resistance limits their efficacy. A comprehensive, multimodal approach is crucial to characterizing resistance patterns to FGFR inhibitors.

Method: Infants (n = 53) who met criteria for the High-Risk Infant Follow-up Program were enrolled. Simple linear models predicted 12-month developmental abilities and linear mixed models predicted 6- to 12-month trajectories based on length of NICU stay and birthweight.
