Objective: We sought to determine the safety and efficacy of the oral progesterone antagonist onapristone in combination with anastrozole in patients with recurrent progesterone receptor-positive adult-type granulosa cell tumor of the ovary.

Methods: This was a single-institution phase II study of patients with progesterone receptor-positive adult-type granulosa cell tumor who received at least 1 prior line of chemotherapy. Patients were enrolled from November 2021 to August 2022 and tissue was evaluated for progesterone receptor status via immunohistochemistry.

Biological treatments for severe asthma have changed the way this disease is managed, especially in patients who do not respond adequately to conventional treatments with corticosteroids and bronchodilators. Secondary adrenal insufficiency is a life-threatening condition that may arise in the setting of iatrogenic Cushing syndrome. Intra-articular corticosteroid injections (IACs) are a standard treatment for osteoarthritis, and they carry a high risk of secondary central adrenal suppression (SAI). We present the case of a 43-year-old woman who was referred to reproductive endocrinology for evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding with a provisional diagnosis of perimenopause.
