Aim: To assess whether guided bone regeneration (GBR) treatment of peri-implantitis-related bony defects could improve healing compared to open flap debridement (OFD) at 36 months.
Materials And Methods: In a multi-centre, randomized clinical trial, 32 individuals received OFD (control group [CG]) and 34 GBR treatment (test group [TG]). Radiographic defect fill (RDF), probing pocket depth (PPD), bleeding on probing (BOP) suppuration (SUP), mucosal recession (MREC) and patient-reported outcomes (PROs) were evaluated at 36 months.
The genomes of eusocial insects allow the production and regulation of highly distinct phenotypes, largely independent of genotype. Although rare, eusociality has evolved convergently in at least three insect orders (Hymenoptera, Blattodea and Coleoptera). Despite such disparate origins, eusocial phenotypes show remarkable similarity, exhibiting long-lived reproductives and short-lived sterile workers and soldiers.

Purpose: This clinical observational study aimed to determine the reproducibility of digital color measurement methods of different front teeth.
Methods: Color determination was performed using two spectrophotometric systems (Easyshade Advance; ES and Shadepilot; SP) and digital photography using a camera with ring flash and gray card with subsequent evaluation using computer software (DP; Adobe Photoshop). In 50 patients, at two time points, a digital color determination was performed on maxillary central incisors (MCI) and maxillary canines (MC) by a calibrated examiner.
This case report describes the chairside fabrication of a monolithic posterior crown using a multilayer super-translucent zirconia material. According to the manufacturer's information, the newly introduced multilayer zirconia (4-YTZP) offers a unique combination of fracture strength (>850 MPa with speed-sintering) and improved optical properties, thus allowing a reduced minimum material thickness and optional temporary luting. By using up-to-date components of the CEREC system, including superfast dry-milling and a speed-sintering process, the fabrication of a monolithic zirconia crown is possible within an acceptable timeframe for the chairside workflow (60-75 min).
