Unlabelled: Essentials Clinical significance of cancer-related isolated distal deep vein thrombosis (iDDVT) is unknown. We studied patients with iDDVT, with and without cancer, and proximal DVT with cancer. Cancer-related iDDVT patients have a much poorer prognosis than iDDVT patients without cancer.
