Background: Oral cancer; categorised under head and neck cancers (HNC) predominantly originates from squamous cells and is referred as oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Various factors (internal and external) causes OSCC. PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways are known to be primarily mutated in HNC.

BR is a rare C50 carotenoid from the xanthophyll family, and it has been extensively studied for its potent antioxidant properties, such as its ability to protect cells from oxidative stress. In addition, several studies have shown that BR-rich extracts and its derivatives exhibit significant antiviral, antidiabetic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effects, making them ideal candidates for the development of novel therapeutic interventions against various diseases.

It is unclear whether HSNIG improves outcomes of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Hypertonic saline can be prepared and HSNIG performed at home, making it a safe and scalable intervention, particularly well-suited for low- and middle-income countries.

The discovery of the association between EGFR mutations and the efficacy of EGFR tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has revolutionized the treatment paradigm for patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Currently, third-generation EGFR TKIs, which are often characterized by potent central nervous system penetrance, are the standard-of-care first-line treatment for advanced-stage EGFR-mutant NSCLC. Rational combinations of third-generation EGFR TKIs with anti-angiogenic drugs, chemotherapy, the EGFR-MET bispecific antibody amivantamab or local tumour ablation are being investigated as strategies to delay drug resistance and increase clinical benefit.

Utilizing observed long-term climatic data (1958-2017), statistical methods such as the Mann-Kendall test (MKT), Sen's Slope Estimator (SSE), and Incremental Trend Analysis (ITA) were applied to assess the impact of surface air temperature, rainfall, and the number of rainy days on cardamom yield. The analysis revealed a significant decline in annual rainfall by approximately 13.
