Background: According to the neurodevelopmental theory, brain structuring early markers could be seen in different body parts as minor physical anomalies. Alongside minor physical anomalies, handedness and index to ring finger ratio are brain development indicators, specifically brain lateralization. Studies are consentient about the association of these findings with schizophrenia, though there is inconsistency about individual anatomical regions' contribution.

Objective: In patients with risk factors or established atherothrombosis, atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with a poor prognosis compared with patients without AF. The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of AF in patients with lower limb amputation (LLA) and its association with cardiovascular death and adverse cardiovascular events in long-term follow-up.
Methods: Observational prospective study of consecutive patients after index major (transfemoral and transtibial) LLA.
Introduction: Recent studies have shown a growing correlation between violence and mental illness, but there is a higher risk of violent crimes only in certain cases of mental disorders. This study presents sociodemographic and psychiatric characteristics of homicide offenders in Serbia, in the Province of Vojvodina in a 10-year period (1996-2005). Material and Methods~ The obtained data are based on performed forensic and psychiatric expert investigatfons of 154 homicide offenders in preceding period, considering sociodemographic data, personal history and current psychiatric status.
