Clinical Manifestations of Anti-GABA-B Receptor Encephalitis: A Case Series.

Anti γ aminobutyric acid B(GABA B) receptor encephalitis is a rare form of autoimmune encephalitis. Our aim is to study the clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes of anti GABA B receptor encephalitis. This is a retrospective case series from the Neuroimmunology laboratory of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala, India from 2016 to 2021.

Hemolytic Anemia Secondary to Rasburicase Treatment in the Setting of Glucose-6-Phosphate-Dehydrogenase Deficiency: A Case Report.

Rasburicase is a recombinant form of urate oxidase, a medication used to treat hyperuricemia by metabolizing uric acid into an inactive and more soluble metabolite, allantoin. An oxidizing agent, hydrogen peroxide, is produced during the conversion of uric acid to allantoin. We present here a case of hemolytic anemia secondary to rasburicase treatment which was later confirmed to have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PDD).

A multimodal zebrafish developmental atlas reveals the state-transition dynamics of late-vertebrate pluripotent axial progenitors.

Elucidating organismal developmental processes requires a comprehensive understanding of cellular lineages in the spatial, temporal, and molecular domains. In this study, we introduce Zebrahub, a dynamic atlas of zebrafish embryonic development that integrates single-cell sequencing time course data with lineage reconstructions facilitated by light-sheet microscopy. This atlas offers high-resolution and in-depth molecular insights into zebrafish development, achieved through the sequencing of individual embryos across ten developmental stages, complemented by reconstructions of cellular trajectories.

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) in a Young Adult: A Rare Presentation and a Multidisciplinary Approach.

A gastrointestinal stromal tumor is a rare gastrointestinal tumor of mesenchymal origin. We present a rare case of a 32-year-old male patient with a history of iron deficiency anemia who presented with nocturnal cramping abdominal pain, nausea, non-bloody vomiting, loss of appetite, and weight loss. The patient had no significant family history of cancer.
