Objective: We assessed the global distribution and academic, administrative and research outcomes of international fellows (IFs) trained in Canadian gynecologic oncology (GO) programs.

Methods: A web-based survey was sent to IFs who completed GO training in Canada. Using the Web of science database, we identified the publication list, citation record and H-index of IFs and classified them according to their region of practice: high-income countries (HIC), middle income countries (MIC), and low-income countries (LIC).

After 20 years of stagnation, federal scholarships have finally been increased within the new budget of the Canadian government. Tuition fees, inflation, and costs of living kept rising, which has resulted a rising number of graduate students in the life sciences living below poverty line, despite working far more than 40 h a week on science research in Canada. This does not only negatively affect the students research projects and thus science and innovation in Canada, but also their downstream decisions on whether to continue a research career in Canada and what jobs and economic endeavors to pursue.

Background: Current preoperative imaging is insufficient to predict survival and tumor recurrence in endometrial cancer (EC), necessitating invasive procedures for risk stratification.

Purpose: To establish a multiparametric MRI radiomics model for predicting disease-free survival (DFS) and high-risk histopathologic features in EC.

Methods: This retrospective study included 71 patients with histopathology-proven EC and preoperative MRI over a 10-year period.

Here, we report a novel role for the yeast lysine acetyltransferase NuA4 in regulating phospholipid availability for organelle morphology. Disruption of the NuA4 complex results in 70% of cells displaying nuclear deformations and nearly 50% of cells exhibiting vacuolar fragmentation. Cells deficient in NuA4 also show severe defects in the formation of nuclear-vacuole junctions (NJV), as well as a decrease in piecemeal microautophagy of the nucleus (PMN).
