Importance: A high infection burden in early childhood is common and a risk factor for later disease development. However, longitudinal birth cohort studies investigating early-life infection burden and later risk of infection and antibiotic episodes are lacking.
Objective: To investigate whether early-life infection burden is associated with a later risk of infection and systemic antibiotic treatment episodes in childhood.
Introduction: Maternal undernutrition and inflammation in utero may significantly impact the neurodevelopmental potential of offspring. However, few studies have investigated the effects of pregnancy interventions on long-term child growth and development. This study will examine the effects of prenatal nutrition and infection management interventions on long-term growth and neurodevelopmental outcomes of offspring.

The assessment of outcomes from the patient perspective has been limited by the absence of patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures tailored to this patient population. To address this need, we employed a mixed methods, multi-step process to first identify the most important symptoms/concerns and then use this information to construct a PRO symptom battery.

Background/aim: Autotransplantation is a well-documented procedure for replacing missing teeth in the anterior maxilla. This retrospective study aims to evaluate long-term survival rate, success rate as well as esthetics and patient-reported outcome of premolars autotransplanted to the anterior maxilla and secondarily to identify potential prognostic factors for survival, success, esthetic, and biological complications.
Material And Methods: One hundred and twenty-two patients with 153 transplants were assessed on survival rate and potential prognostic factors, while 50 patients with 61 autotransplanted premolars underwent clinical, radiographic, and esthetic assessment.
