Both clonal plant capabilities for physiological integration and common mycorrhizal networks (CMNs) formed by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can influence the distribution of nutrients and growth among interconnected individuals. Using a microcosm model system, we aimed to disentangle how CMNs interact with clonal integration to influence plant growth and development. The current study aims to investigate the prognostic value of breast cancer integrated oxidative stress score (BCIOSS) in patients with breast cancer who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT). A retrospective analysis of 104 breast cancer patients who underwent NACT from June 2009 to December 2015 was performed. The differences of BCIOSS of breast cancers in regard to variables were analyzed using Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test.

The Functional Annotation of Animal Genomes (FAANG) consortium aims to annotate animal genomes across species, and work in the horse has substantially contributed to that goal. As part of this initiative, chromatin immunoprecipitation with sequencing (ChIP-seq) was performed to identify histone modifications corresponding to enhancers (H3K4me1), promoters (H3K4me3), activators (H3K27ac), and repressors (H3K27me3) in eight tissues from two Thoroughbred stallions: adipose, parietal cortex, heart, lamina, liver, lung, skeletal muscle, and testis. The average genome coverage of peaks identified by MACS2 for H3K4me1, H3K4me3, and H3K27ac was 6.

This paper presents a large publicly available benchmark dataset (TCMEval-SDT) for the thought process involved in syndrome differentiation in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The dataset consists of 300 TCM syndrome diagnosis cases sourced from the internet, classical Chinese medical texts, and medical records from hospitals, with metadata adhering to the Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) principles. Each case has been annotated and curated by TCM experts and includes medical record ID, clinical data, explanatory summary, TCM syndrome, clinical information, and TCM pathogenesis, to support algorithms or models in emulating the diagnostic process of TCM clinicians.
