Cranio-caudal respiratory motion and liver activity cause a variety of complex myocardial perfusion (MP) artifacts, especially in the inferior myocardial wall, that may also mask cardiac defects. To assess and characterise such artifacts, an anthropomorphic thorax with moving thoracic phantoms can be utilised in SPECT MP imaging. In this study, a liver phantom was developed and anatomically added into an anthropomorphic phantom that also encloses an ECG beating cardiac phantom and breathing lungs' phantom.

Infliximab (Remicade), a chimeric monoclonal antibody to tumor necrosis factor-alpha (anti-TNF-alpha), is being used with increasing frequency in the treatment of Crohn's disease. Infliximab's safety profile to date has been good with reported adverse events being mild to moderate. We report a case of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage after the second infliximab infusion in a patient with Crohn's disease.

Objective: The clinical spectrum of adults with celiac disease in the United States, where the disease is considered rare, is not known. We sought this information by distributing a survey.
