Introduction: There is no clear literature present till date assessing the prevalence of traumatic dental injuries and associated factors in children living in Arab countries. The purpose of this study was to systematically assess the prevalence, trends, and potential risk factors of traumatic dental injury (TDI) in permanent teeth among children and adolescents in Arab countries.

Methods: This study followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines.

Introduction Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major health concern due to its poor clinical and functional outcome and its impact on family homeostasis. Often, the stressed and anxious family is not involved in the care process until the rehabilitation phase. This study aimed to evaluate the integration of family involvement in the neuro-intensive care of TBI patients on family satisfaction.

Vertebral Body Tethering in Skeletally Immature Patients: Results of a Prospective U.S. FDA Investigational Device Exemption Study.

Background: The purpose of this study was to report on 2-year results of vertebral body tethering (VBT), performed under a Food and Drug Administration protocol, to obtain insight into outcomes and complications.

Methods: Forty prospectively enrolled patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) who had a Sanders score of ≤4 or a Risser score of ≤2 underwent VBT for curves between 40° and 70°. Surgical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes were reviewed at a minimum 2-year follow-up.

Speech Perception and Language Abilities Among Children Using Cochlear Implants: Findings From a Primary School Age Cohort in South India.

Objectives: This study aimed to profile the speech perception and language abilities of a cohort of pediatric cochlear implant (CI) users in primary school years. It also aimed to understand the intercorrelations among audiological, child, and environmental characteristics, speech perception, and language skills and to explore the predictors of speech perception and language skills.

Design: A cross-sectional design was used for the study.
