Solution NMR studies of large systems are hampered by rapid signal decay. We hereby introduce ROCSY (relaxation-optimized total correlation spectroscopy), which maximizes transfer efficiency across J-coupling-connected spin networks by minimizing the amount of time magnetization spends in the transverse plane. Hard pulses are substituted into the Clean-CITY TOCSY pulse element first developed by Ernst and co-workers, allowing for longer delays in which magnetization is aligned along the z-axis.

Evaluating high-throughput soil profile information is essential in safflower precision agriculture, as it facilitates efficient resource management and design of an experiment that promotes sustainable production. We collected soil from representative target environments (TE) of safflower cultivation and evaluated 14 soil physio-chemical features for constructing fine-resolution maps. The robustness, versatility, and predictive ability of two statistical learning models in correctly classifying the soil profile to clusters were tested.

Myeloid cell leukemia 1 (MCL-1) is a member of the B-cell lymphoma 2 protein family and has anti-apoptotic functions. Deregulation of MCL-1 has been reported in several cancers, including lung and breast cancer. In the present study, the association of MCL-1 expression with molecular features in colorectal cancer (CRC) has been highlighted.

Background: Residual, recurrent, and second primary head and neck cancers are on the rise. This is largely driven by a younger age at diagnosis and increasingly targeted chemoradiotherapy options. Salvage surgery remains the only curative intent option in this cohort of patients.

Urethrovaginal fistulas are rare complications often arising from urethrovaginal injuries commonly due to obstetrical trauma, urethral surgeries, pelvic fractures, or neoplastic treatments. Here, we present a unique case involving a 23-year-old female patient with a large urethrovaginal fistula and complete anterior vaginal wall sloughing following prolonged obstructed labor. Nine months post-cesarean, she reported urine leakage via the vagina upon catheter removal, which intensified in an erect posture.
