Pediatric providers' views on participating in an HPV Vaccine Quality Improvement Intervention: a qualitative analysis.

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted infection in the US, contributes to oropharyngeal and urogenital cancers. To improve HPV vaccine uptake, quality improvement (QI) interventions that address barriers to vaccination in primary care may help. This study aims to understand pediatric primary care providers' (PCP) perspectives on participating in an HPV QI intervention that utilized practice facilitation to improve HPV vaccine uptake in pediatric primary care clinics.

Health impacts of climate change in the UK: A qualitative synthesis detailing the conjuncture of social structure, extreme weather, and mental health.

This qualitative synthesis explores the experiences of UK communities facing growing health risks from climate change and extreme weather. The eight included studies show the profound impacts of extreme weather events such as floods on mental health, including challenges to self-identity and anxiety from the fear of flooding returning. Included data reveal individual and household impacts of extreme weather are mediated by a complex interaction of institutional support, community support, gender inequalities and personal agency.

Background: Randomised controlled trials (RCTs) often struggle with recruitment and many need extensions which leads to delayed implementation of effective interventions. Recruitment to complex intervention trials have similar difficulties. Alongside this, the COVID-19 pandemic had a major impact upon trial recruitment.

Background: Youth with depression may be at a higher risk of developing bipolar disorder (BD). Self-reported, dimensional measures, like the Bipolar Spectrum Diagnostic Scale (BSDS), aim to assess for BD in these groups.
