Purpose: To identify opportunities to improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care for transgender and gender diverse (TGD) cancer survivors by describing (1) challenges experienced when navigating SRH care and (2) strategies to help overcome these challenges.

Methods: We enrolled a purposive sample of 17 adult TGD cancer survivors and 5 co-survivors. We aimed for a diverse sample across cancer experience, age, racial/ethnic background, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Mutations in RNA splicing factor genes including , , and have been reported to contribute to development of myeloid neoplasms including myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and secondary acute myeloid leukemia (sAML). Chemical tools targeting cells carrying these mutant genes remain limited and underdeveloped. Among the four proteins, mutant U2AF1 (U2AF1) acquires an altered 3' splice site selection preference and co-operates with the wild-type U2AF1 (U2AF1) to change various gene isoform patterns to support MDS cells survival and proliferation.

This study aimed to evaluate how the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community utilized Twitter to discuss the financial challenges of oncofertility care and to advocate for change. Tweets related to oncofertility and finances ( = 166), collected over a 12-week time period encompassing AYA Cancer Awareness Week, were thematically analyzed. Conversations highlighted how the high cost of care contributed to already high emotional and social distress.

Objective:  This proof-of-concept study assessed how confidently an artificial intelligence (AI) model can determine the sex of a fetus from an ultrasound image.

Study Design:  Analysis was performed using 19,212 ultrasound image slices from a high-volume fetal sex determination practice. This dataset was split into a training set (11,769) and test set (7,443).

Clonal hematopoiesis in children and young adults differs from that occuring in the older adult population. A variety of stressors drive this phenomenon, sometimes independent of age-related processes. For the purposes of this review, we adopt the term clonal hematopoiesis in predisposed individuals (CHIPI) to differentiate it from classical, age-related clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP).
