While local treatment of metastases is considered to be unrelated to prognosis, previous studies have suggested that local treatment of isolated lung metastases may have positive prognostic impact. We designed this prospective cohort study to investigate the clinical situation and its outcomes. We enrolled patients with fewer than 3 lung nodules suspected of being oligometastases after curative breast cancer surgery.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to investigate the number and percentage of items that changed magnetic resonance (MR) safety information labeling for implantable medical devices (IMDs) and to confirm the importance of checking the latest MR safety information database (117 types and 10031 items).
Methods: We investigated the number and percentage of MR safety labeling changed for IMDs in the MR safety information database as of December 2021 and August 2022.
Results: IMDs of MR Safety Unlabeled decreased from 4116 items (41.
Objectives: This study aimed to objectively evaluate the water-jet-functioned electrosurgical knife injection performances in a desktop experiment.
Methods: Five types of water-jet-functioned electrosurgical knives, including two injection styles of sheath-type (A: DualKnife J, KD-655L; B: FlushKnife, DK2620-J-B20S; C: Splash M-Knife, DN-D2718B; D: ISSEN, SN1650-20) and tip-type (E: ORISE ProKnife, M00519361) were evaluated. These knives were compared with an injection needle (Control: SuperGrip 25G) as a control.
Objective: Direct oral anticoagulants are frequently used to prevent systemic embolism associated with atrial fibrillation. Gastrointestinal bleeding is a common adverse event of this pharmacotherapy, especially in the lower gastrointestinal tract. However, the prevalence of mucosal injury of the colon in patients taking direct oral anticoagulants has remained unknown.

However, only a few trials have evaluated the effect of NST in conversion from BCT ineligibility to BCT eligibility in HER2-positive breast cancer.
Methods: We conducted the surgical sub-study of a phase II randomized trial, which compared standard neoadjuvant treatment or an experimental treatment modified according to the interim Ki-67 evaluation in women with stage II or III HER2-positive breast cancer.
