Lichens have recently received great attention due to their pharmacological potentials. The antigenotoxic potential of extract (25 and 50 µg/mL) was assessed in normal human peripheral blood lymphocytes (HPBL) against Mitomycin C (MMC) co-treatments. Flow cytometric analyses of cell cycle distribution, as well as apoptosis (Annexin V/PI), revealed that the extract had significantly ( ≤ 0.

The T<>T pyrimidine-pyrimidone 6-4 dimer and the cyclobutane cis-syn T<>T 5-6 dimer produced by UV irradiation with a xenon lamp were analyzed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Although the dimer production was reduced when the irradiation was filtered through a UVAS solution, it decreased more when thymine was mixed with UVAS.

AgNOR dots were divided into two kinds: 'structures' (larger and less-densely stained) corresponding to the nucleolus, and 'units' (smaller and densely stained) presumed to be true AgNOR within the structure. The number of structures per nucleus did not differ between the adenoma and carcinoma groups, whereas the number of units per nucleus showed a significant difference.

Along with the fundamental repetition rate of 38.8 GHz, we observed 400-GHz, 800-GHz, and 1.

Depending on the day of anticancer drug administration, single administration or 2 to 6-day repeated administration of granisetron at 2 mg once daily was conducted. The clinical efficacy rate against nausea and vomiting was 91.
