Smart manufacturing is a vision and major driver for change in today's industry. The goal of smart manufacturing is to optimize manufacturing processes through constantly monitoring, controlling, and adapting processes towards more efficient and personalised manufacturing. This requires and relies on technologies for connected machines incorporating a variety of computation, sensing, actuation, and machine to machine communications modalities.

The three-component cyclization of 3-polyfluoroalkyl-3-oxopropanoates and methyl ketones with ammonium acetate affords 6-organyl-4-(polyfluoroalkyl)pyridin-2(1)-ones (organyl is alkyl, aryl, or hetaryl). The synthesized pyridones were evaluated for antifungal, antibacterial, and analgesic activity.

Heteroanalogs of ascidian alkaloids have been synthesized, and for the first time 10 different types of saturated carbo- and heteroannulated pyridones have been obtained. A new method for the formation of decahydro[1,3]oxazolo[2,3-]quinoline and octahydro-5-cyclopenta[][1,3]oxazolo[3,2-]pyridine was proposed. The synthesis of these heterocycles is based on the three-component cyclization of trifluoroacetoacetic ester and cycloketones with 1,2- and 1,3-dinucleophiles.

4-Nitroso-3-trifluoromethyl-5-alkyl[(het)aryl]pyrazoles were synthesized via one-pot nitrosation of 1,3-diketones or their lithium salts followed by treatment of hydrazines. Reduction of nitroso-derivatives made it possible to obtain 4-amino-3-trifluoromethylpyrazoles chlorides. According to computer-aided calculations, all synthesized compounds are expected to have acceptable ADME profile for drug design.

This paper introduces a new method of Blockchain formation for reliable storage of personal data of ID-card holders. In particular, the model of the information system is presented, the new structure of smart ID-cards and information on these cards are proposed. The new structure of Blockchain, "Blockchain Tree", allows not only to store information from ID-cards but also to increase the level of security and access control to this information.
