Recombinant interleukin-22 (rIL-22) has been reported as a protective agent in murine models of diseases driven by epithelial injury. Parasites have a circadian rhythm and their sensitivity to a certain drug may vary during the day. Therefore, this work aimed to investigate the effect of rIL-22 administration at different times of the day on the inflammation, oxidative status, and neurotransmitter release in the gut-brain axis of the Schistosoma mansoni-infected mice.

The present study aimed to investigate the protective potential of naringin (NG) against di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP)- induced testicular damage and impairment of spermatogenesis in rats. Forty-two male Wistar albino rats were divided into six equal groups, and treated orally, 3 times weekly for 8 successive weeks. Control vehicle group was administrated olive oil, naringin-treated group was administered NG (80 mg/kg), DBP 250- and DBP 500- intoxicated groups received DBP (250 mg/kg) and (500 mg/kg), respectively, NG + DBP 250 and NG + DBP 500 groups received NG, an hour prior to DBP 250 and 500 administration.

The therapeutic effect of liposomal IL-22 versus non-liposomal IL-22 on liver fibrosis was investigated. IL-22 (5 µg/ml) was incorporated into negative charged liposomes. Schistosoma mansoni infected mice were treated with liposomal IL-22 for either 7 or 14 days before decapitation.

Hypoxia is a condition in which proliferating tumor cells are deprived of oxygen due to limited blood supply from abnormal tumor microvasculature. This study aimed to investigate the molecular changes that occur in tumor cell hypoxia with special emphasis placed on the efficacy of chemotherapeutic and radiation-related effects. Four commercially available chemotherapeutic agents: cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and 5-fluorouracil, were tested for their cytotoxic activity on the cancer cell lines PC3 (prostate), HepG2 (liver), and MCF-7 (breast).

This paper exhibits a high-gain, low-profile dipole antenna array (DAA) for 5G applications. The dipole element has a semi-triangular shape to realize a simple input impedance regime. To reduce the overall antenna size, a substrate integrated cavity (SIC) is adopted as a power splitter feeding network.
