So called "premature ejaculation" is a symptom of several different conditions. Almost all of these respond well to short term techniques that are fully described in this paper. Considering the contrast between the degree of marital disruption that is often caused by inability to delay ejaculation and the relatively little time and effort needed by the understanding family physician to clear up the symptom, the point is made that it is a rewarding experience to treat these patients in family practice.
