Template-Assisted Wet-Combustion Synthesis of Fibrous Nickel-Based Catalyst for Carbon Dioxide Methanation and Methane Steam Reforming.

Efficient capture and recycling of CO enable not only prevention of global warming but also the supply of useful low-carbon fuels. The catalytic conversion of CO into an organic compound is a promising recycling approach which opens new concepts and opportunities for catalytic and industrial development. Here we report about template-assisted wet-combustion synthesis of a one-dimensional nickel-based catalyst for carbon dioxide methanation and methane steam reforming.

[Diagnostics of septic complications after long tubular bones fractures].

Interleukine (IL-1alpha, IL-4) blood levels and lipid peroxidation--antioxidant agents were assessed in 98 patients with fractures of long tubular bones. Using the data, an algorithm was worked out, which permits prediction of septic complications with a high level of accuracy.

[Diagnosis of inflammatory complications in patients with long bone fractures in the postoperative period].

The serum levels of some indices of the LPO antioxidant system (dienic conjugates, antioxidative activity), cytokines (IL-1beta, TNF-alpha, IL-4) and the blood antiprotease system protein alpha2-macroglobulin were studied in 97 patients with closed long bone fractures. Based on the finding, a procedure was devised to evaluate the course of an inflammatory process in the early postoperative period, which predicted the development of pyoinflammatory complications at a stage of preclinical manifestations.

[Strangulated internal hernias of the abdominal cavity].

Analysis of 8 cases with incarcerated hernias has been made. The incarceration of an internal hernia was first shown to simulate other diseases of abdominal organs followed by the development of symptoms of intestinal obstruction.
