A new species of genus Oedaspis Loew and new distribution records of Acidiostigma Hendel & Goniurellia Hendel from India (Diptera: Tephritidae).

A new species of genus Oedaspis Loew, Oedaspis nauniensis Maneesh & Hancock, sp. nov., is described from Himachal Pradesh, India and Oedaspis Loew, Acidiostigma bomiense Wang and Goniurellia lacerata (Becker) are newly recorded from India.

Introduction: Stature contributes as a crucial element of an individual's physical appearance and can be instrumental in establishing their identity. In cases where the body is extensively mutilated, decomposed, or reduced to skeletal remains, stature becomes an essential component in identifying the unknown by means of measuring the skeletal remains. Its estimation relies on the principle that an individual's height has a definite and linear relationship with specific body parts and long bones.

The Effect of Light-emitting Diode Light Intensities and Duration of Cure on Pulpal Wall Temperature among Different Classes of Teeth.

Introduction: The thermal changes during light curing of resin-based composites (RBCs) are recognized, but there is a lack of information about temperature changes in pulp tissue under different curing protocols, especially during bonding of orthodontic brackets onto the tooth surface. In the present study, pulpal temperature (PT) variation induced by the use of four different light cure intensities and different durations of cure among different classes of teeth was measured.

Materials And Methods: A total of 80 different classes of human extracted teeth (maxillary and mandibular central incisor, lateral incisor, canine, premolar, and molar) were irradiated at the same distances with four visible light curing intensities.
