End-to-end simulations of photonic phase correctors for adaptive optics systems.

Optical beams and starlight distorted by atmospheric turbulence can be corrected with adaptive optics systems to enable efficient coupling into single-mode fibers. Deformable mirrors, used to flatten the wavefront in astronomical telescopes, are costly, sensitive, and complex mechanical components that require careful calibration to enable high-quality imaging in astronomy, microscopy, and vision science. They are also impractical to deploy in large numbers for non-imaging applications like free-space optical communication.

The increase in questionable health content was aided by the speed and scale of digital and social media and certain news agencies' and politicians' active dissemination of misinformation about the virus. The popularity of certain COVID-19 myths created confusion about effective health protocols and impacted trust in the health care and government sectors deployed to manage the pandemic.

Background: The rampant spread of misinformation about COVID-19 has been linked to a lower uptake of preventive behaviors such as vaccination. Some individuals, however, have been able to resist believing in COVID-19 misinformation. Further, some have acted as information advocates, spreading accurate information and combating misinformation about the pandemic.

A Case Series of Fetal-Neonatal Ovarian Cyst from a Tertiary Care Hospital.

The occurrence of ovarian cyst in the neonate is rare and antenatally diagnosed by ultrasonography. This study aims to increase awareness about its occurrence and histological features. Histomorphological features of mucormycosis with rise and fall of COVID-19 pandemic.

Introduction: Due to Corona Virus disease -19, India saw a surge of mucormycosis cases, associated with high death rate. India, during the month of May to July 2021 saw a surge of mucormycosis from all states, with close to 50,000 cases just in a span of 3 months.

Objective: To examine the histopathological appearances of rhino-orbital/rhino-maxillary/sino-nasal mucormycosis in the backdrop of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
