Computational study on water based hybrid photovoltaic systems with different absorber configurations.

The current study assesses several water-based PVT system thermal absorber configurations. The thermal absorber in PVT system plays a vital role in efficiency evaluation as it lowers PV temperature and collects heat energy. The current study aims to discover and analyze advanced thermal absorber design by comparing well-received spiral circular absorbers and non-cooled PV with proposed semi-circular thermal absorbers with varying flow configurations.

Performance optimization for solar photovoltaic thermal system with spiral rectangular absorber using Taguchi method.

Solar collector systems efficiently transform sunlight into energy that may be used to meet various needs. This research aimed to use the Taguchi method to determine the ideal operating parameters for a solar thermal collector with a rectangular spiral absorber. Controllable parameters including mass flow rate, solar radiation, and absorber design were manipulated during the energy recovery process, and features like PV temperature and outlet water temperature were used to assess the system's effectiveness.

Serum calprotectin and joint ultrasound in the definition of disease relapse in non-systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis: a prospective longitudinal study.

Objectives: The aim of our study was to investigate the role of serum calprotectin (SC) and muscle-skeletal ultrasound (MSUS) as predictive markers of relapse in patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).

Methods: Sixty non-systemic (ns) JIA patients in clinical remission were recruited to evaluate the risk of disease relapse. SC levels and JIA disease activity were assessed at every visit (3, 6, 12 and 18 months).

Professional framing and emotional stability modulate facial appearance biases in nursing students.

Aim: Providing the same standard of care to all patients alike, regardless of race, gender, age or any other irrelevant characteristic is imperative in the healthcare profession. In this study we examined whether and to what extent unintentional evaluations based on facial appearance of others affect nursing students' readiness to approach them and provide nursing care.

Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2018 to July 2019.

Aims: To examine whether and to what extent emotion reactions of nursing students are affected by emotional features inherent in nursing care situations, focusing on gender and aggression.

Background: How individual characteristics of nurse students interact with emotional demands inherent in nursing practice and modulate the way they are perceived and acted upon may have an impact on quality of patient care.

Design: Cross-sectional study, conducted from May to September 2013.
