This paper presents a new approach for denoising Partial Discharge (PD) signals using a hybrid algorithm combining the adaptive decomposition technique with Entropy measures and Group-Sparse Total Variation (GSTV). Initially, the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) technique is applied to decompose a noisy sensor data into the Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs), Mutual Information (MI) analysis between IMFs is carried out to set the mode length . Then, the Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) technique decomposes a noisy sensor data into number of Band Limited IMFs (BLIMFs).

Here, we demonstrate that the gatekeeper of mitochondrial Ca uptake, Mitochondrial Calcium Uptake 1 (MICU1/CBARA1) drives aerobic glycolysis in ovarian cancer. We show that MICU1 is overexpressed in a panel of ovarian cancer cell lines and that MICU1 overexpression correlates with poor overall survival (OS).

The nanoantennas are arranged as arrays of asymmetric-split H-shape (ASH) structures, tuned to produce plasmonic resonances with reflectance double peaks within the mid-infrared vibrational resonances of C-H bonds for the assay of deposited films of the molecule 17β-estradiol (E2), used as an analyte. Measurements and numerical simulations of the reflectance spectra have enabled an estimated enhancement factor on the order of 10 to be obtained for a thin film of E2 on the ASH array.

Despite the advances, a few patients will still develop complications and predicting these early complications in morbidly obese patients can prove to be difficult. Radiological investigations have limited diagnostic value and have associated side effects and cost.
