Bimetallic NiCr nanoparticles decorated on carbon nanofibers (NiCr@CNFs) were synthesized through electrospinning and investigated as catalysts for hydrogen generation from the dehydrogenation of sodium borohydride (SBH). Four distinct compositions were prepared, with chromium content in the catalysts ranging from 5 to 25 weight percentage (wt%). Comprehensive characterization confirmed the successful formation of bimetallic NiCr@CNFs.

Investigations of the ternary system Zr-V-Al showed, in contrast to the system Hf-V-Al, that no superstructures can be observed within the solid solution Zr(V1-xAlx)2. High values of x form aluminum rich phases that adopt the hexagonal MgZn2 type structure while low values of x lead to vanadium rich phases that adopt the cubic MgCu2 type.

Erythema multiforme (EM) is an immune-mediated condition that manifests as targetoid skin lesions and can be triggered by various factors, including infections and vaccinations. This case report describes a 41-day-old full-term male infant who developed widespread annular, bullseye-shaped erythematous skin lesions one week after receiving the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccination. The infant, exclusively breastfed and without a significant past medical history, presented with these lesions but no associated systemic symptoms.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTo comprehend speech, human brains identify meaningful units in the speech stream. But whereas the English '' has 3 word-units, the Arabic equivalent '' is a single word-unit with 3 meaningful sub-word units, called morphemes: a verb stem (''), a subject suffix ('--'), and a direct object pronoun ('-'). It remains unclear whether and how the brain processes morphemes, above and beyond other language units, during speech comprehension.
