Article Synopsis
  • - The study investigates the safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of a long-acting growth hormone (GX-H9) compared to daily growth hormone treatment in adults with growth hormone deficiency (AGHD).
  • - Conducted across 16 centers in Europe and Korea, 45 participants were enrolled and assigned to receive either GX-H9 or daily Genotropin, with varying dosages of GX-H9 (weekly and bi-weekly).
  • - Results showed that GX-H9 maintained effective IGF-I responses for longer periods and demonstrated similar safety profiles compared to Genotropin, indicating its potential for less frequent dosing.
