Occupational Medicine Department in Moscow Sechenov Medical Academy is based on RAMSc Research Institute for Occupational Medicine. The Department's general line is postgraduate education with qualification exam and certification in following specialties: industrial hygiene, occupational pathology, clinical laboratory evaluation and prophylactic toxicology. The Department elaborated many methodic documents and study guides, sample educational programs for doctors in industrial hygiene and for residents in occupational pathology.

117 heads of Ala-Tau breed cattle were studied cytogenetically. The 1/29 translocation was present in 13 animals of unusual for this breed light-grey colour. Chimerism 2n = 59/2n = 60 was found in twins.

Addition of immunomodulating therapy with Thymalin, a thymus agent, to the multimodality therapy of burnt patients contributes to a rapid normalization of immunological parameters. The most marked immune response was observed 7-10 days after a therapy course initiated in the early periods of burn disease in patients with severely depressed T-system immunity and a high sensitivity to the drug. Inclusion of a donor blood leukomass transfusion course activates the cellular link of the immune system just after the treatment course, but fails to favour a stable normalization of thymus-dependent lymphocyte ratios.
