[Spheroid formation in explants of human breast tumor and fibroadenomatous tissues and lymphoid infiltration of explants during cultivation in diffusion chambers].

An extensive formation of epithelioid cell spheroids was shown during tumour tissue growth on millipore filters. In addition, the appearance of such multicellular structures as an early sign of malignant transformation was demonstrated in some fibroadenomatous tissue cultures. The increased fibroadenomatous tissue proliferative activity was accompanied by the rising level of lymphoid cell infiltration.

[Functional and histochemical parameters of the neutrophil state in patients with malignant tumors].

A functional state of neutrophils was studied by their ability to chemotaxis and phagocytosis as well as their enzymatic activity (myeloperoxidase, acid and alkaline phosphatase, glycogen, cation proteins) of 13 patients with malignant neoplasms in dynamics (before and 2 weeks after the radical operation) was studied. Decreasing of all investigated parameters before the operation and significant increasing of chemotaxis and phagocytosis after the operation were revealed.

[Proliferative activity of cells in dyshormonal fibroadenomatosis of the human breast].

Fibroadenomatous tissue of the human mammary gland was cultivated in diffuse chambers implanted into mice. On day 6 of culture the growing cells were subjected to morphological and autoradiographic analysis. The index of 3H-thymidine labeling of cell nuclei was found to correlate with the morphological pattern of dyshormonal fibroadenomatosis of the mammary gland.
