FeO@nitrogen-doped carbon@Pd core-double shell nanotubes as a novel nanosorbent for ultrasonic assisted dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction of organophosphorus pesticides.

In this study, an ultrasonic assisted dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction leveraging FeO@nitrogen-doped carbon@Pd core-double shell nanotubes was developed for the extraction of organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) in trace levels from real samples. Incorporation of Pd species into the structure of the nanosorbent could enhance its interactions with sulfur groups in the structure of OPPs. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction, brunauer-emmett-teller, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were used to characterize the nanosorbent after its synthesis.

Context: Today, there are many discussions about the best way to maintain weight and prevent weight regain after a period of weight loss.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to summarize, based on data from randomized clinical trials (RCTs), the impact of nonsurgical interventions for adults' weight loss maintenance.

Data Sources: The Medline (PubMed), Scopus, and Web of Science databases were reviewed during June 2023.

Alcohol consumption and frailty risk: a dose-response meta-analysis of cohort studies.

Background/aims: While previous studies suggest that light-to-moderate alcohol consumption may reduce the frailty risk, the dose-response relationship is still under question. To address the knowledge gap, we conducted a systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis of cohort studies to examine the association of alcohol consumption with the risk of both prefrailty and frailty in adults.

Methods: We searched MEDLINE (Ovid), PubMed and Scopus to identify relevant cohort studies published before 8 May 2024.

A case report of atypical granular cell tumor of bladder.

Introduction And Importance: The development of granular cell tumor (GCT) in urinary bladder is a very rare disorder.

Case Presentation: We reported a 50-year-old male, who was referred with vague pelvic pain. There was a hypoechoic mass with diameters of 30*25 mm in frontal wall of bladder in the sonogram.

Objectives: Infertility is inability to conceive after 12 months of regular unprotected sex. MiRNA expression changes can serve as potential biomarkers for infertility in males due to impaired spermatogenesis. This research was conducted to measure the expression level of miR-211 in plasma samples as a factor identifying infertility in comparison with the control group.
