The manuscript is devoted to the problem of selection of antithrombotic therapy in the management of patients with multifocal atherosclerosis. The leading role of cerebrovascular pathology in the structure of mortality and causes of disability is noted. The questions of etiology and pathogenesis of acute cerebrovascular accident are considered.

Hyperlipidemia is the main risk factor for diseases caused by atherosclerosis including ischemic stroke. This publication provides practical recommendations and an algorithm for prescribing lipid-lowering therapy to post-ischemic stroke patients. The algorithm presents the steps for sequential administration of statins, ezetimibe, and PCSK9 inhibitors to achieve target levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.

However, most biological systems are highly complicated and the design of sustainable minimal circuits can be challenging. SobolHDMR is a general-purpose metamodeling software that can be used to reduce the complexity of mathematical models, such as those for metabolic networks and other biological pathways, yielding simpler descriptions that retain the features of the original model.

The simultaneous and reversal H(+)-counter transport of Ca2+ was shown in the presence of known Ca(2+)- and H(+)-transporting pathways through the plasma membrane. Ca2+/H+ exchange through the plasma membrane was shown experimentally on the plasma membrane of lymphocytes, obtained from fresh rats' blood under the conditions of inhibition for known Ca2+ and H+ conductive pathways.
