Objective: To determine the effectiveness of preventive interventions in children who have undergone caries-related dental extractions.

Methods: Rapid review across five databases (CENTRAL, Ovid Medline, Embase, Web of Science and Scopus). Quality was assessed using the Risk of Bias 2 tool.

Scrotal hematoma (SH) in newborn is a rare condition. It can occur secondary to adrenal hemorrhage which often is associated with birth trauma. Scrotal hematoma often raises the suspicion of testicular torsion leading to unnecessary surgery.

Leptospirosis is a zoonotic bacterial disease with a worldwide importance, mostly frequent in tropical and subtropical countries. In Côte d'Ivoire, little is known about leptospirosis and human data are sparse. This disease is usually misdiagnosed with other febrile illnesses, and determining high-risk areas could allow better management of this disease, leading to policies.

Objectives: This study was aimed at documenting and characterizing occupational exposure to single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) generated in a primary manufacturing plant. It also compared various strategies of exposure monitoring.

Methods: A 6-day measurement protocol was scheduled (D1-D6) including both (i) quasi-personal monitoring with an array of direct reading instruments (DRIs) and (ii) offline electron microscopy analyses of surface and breathing zone filter-based samples.
