Cryoneurolysis for the treatment of cervical facet joint syndrome: a technical note.

Objective: Neck pain has an annual prevalence of 30%. A frequent cause of neck pain is cervical facet joint pain. In cases of refractory cervical facet joint pain, radiofrequency can be employed, but the grade of evidence attested in systematic reviews is fair.

PREDICTION OF FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREEN™ PERFORMANCE FROM LOWER EXTREMITY RANGE OF MOTION AND CORE TESTS.

Background: There are varied reports in the literature regarding the association of the Functional Movement Screen™ (FMS™) with injury. The FMS™ has been correlated with hamstring range of motion and plank hold times; however, limited research is available on the predictability of lower extremity range of motion (ROM) and core function on FMS™ performance.

Purpose/hypotheses: The purpose of this study was to examine whether active lower extremity ROM measurements and core functional tests predict FMS™ performance.

An in vitro analysis of the size and shape of cryolesions for facet joint denervation.

Objectives: Lumbar facet joint syndrome (LFJS) is the cause of lower back pain in 15-54% of the patients. Clinical studies of cryotherapy for LFJS have reported promising outcomes. However, few studies have focused on the technical aspects of cryoneurolysis for LFJS.

Primary bone lymphomas thought to be osteomyelitis urgently demand a rapid diagnosis in bone pathology.

We describe in detail three cases of primary bone lymphoma (PBL), initially treated as osteomyelitis of unknown etiology. These cases show which difficulties can occur with diagnosing this entity and highlight the urgent need for rapid diagnostic results in the field of bone pathology. Case 1: A 22-year-old man with the very rare diagnosis of precursor B-lymphoblastic lymphoma in the tibia (previously published).
