Psoriasis (PsO) is a chronic, systemic, and autoimmune dermatologic condition characterized by dry, scaly, and erythematous plaques on the skin. PsO can present in various forms, including guttate (small, round lesions commonly over the upper trunk and extremities that can be raised and scaly), inverse (smooth plaques of inflamed skin within skin folds of the groin, buttock, and breasts), pustular (white painful pustules within red inflamed blotches widespread over the body), and erythrodermic (red rash present over most of the body). Individuals with PsO can present differently, with unique symptoms and patterns on the skin.

These tumors are classified into two main subtypes: seminomas and non-seminomatous germ cell tumors (NSGCTs), with the latter known for their higher likelihood of metastasis. Early detection through imaging and tumor markers like alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is crucial for favorable outcomes.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional analysis of infected and uninfected cohorts at baseline. Participants (0-21 years) with laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection were enrolled as infected.
Purpose: High-grade gliomas (HGG) represent the most aggressive primary brain tumors in adults, characterized by high recurrence rates due to incomplete resection. This review explores the effectiveness of emerging intraoperative therapies that may extend survival by targeting residual tumor cells. The main research question addressed is: What recent intraoperative techniques show promise for complementing surgical resection in HGG treatment?
Methods: A comprehensive literature review was conducted, examining recent studies on intraoperative therapeutic modalities that support surgical resection of HGG.

Glioblastoma (GBM) is an aggressive primary brain tumor depicted by a cold tumor microenvironment, low immunogenicity, and limited effective therapeutic interventions. Its location in the brain, a highly immune-selective organ, acts as a barrier, limiting immune access and promoting GBM dissemination, despite therapeutic interventions. Currently, chemotherapy and radiation combined with surgical resection are the standard of care for GBM treatment.
