[Resumption of Enfortumab Vedotin Supported by Diagnosis of a Late- Onset Immune-Related Adverse Event in Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma : A Case Report].

A 71-year-old man presented with exertional dyspnea. Chest radiography revealed multiple pulmonary nodules, and contrast-enhanced computed tomography showed findings suspicious of right renal pelvic cancer. Percutaneous lung tumor biopsy revealed a histological diagnosis of urothelial carcinoma, and right renal pelvic cancer cT3N2M1 was diagnosed.

Evaluating a conceptual framework for quality assessment of medical interpretation.

Objective: We aimed to evaluate a proposed conceptual framework for quality assessment of medical interpretation using actual data from clinical settings.

Methods: A mixed methods approach was used. Routine outpatient encounters involving Portuguese-speaking Brazilian patients, Japanese physicians, and hospital-provided and ad hoc interpreters were digitally recorded and transcribed.

Detecting and mitigating off-target activity is critical to the practical application of CRISPR-mediated genome and epigenome editing. While numerous methods have been developed to map Cas9 binding specificity genome-wide, they are generally time-consuming and/or expensive, and not applicable to catalytically dead CRISPR enzymes. We have developed CasKAS, a rapid, inexpensive, and facile assay for identifying off-target CRISPR enzyme binding and cleavage by chemically mapping the unwound single-stranded DNA structures formed upon binding of a sgRNA-loaded Cas9 protein.

Simultaneous Single-Cell Profiling of the Transcriptome and Accessible Chromatin Using SHARE-seq.

The ability to analyze the transcriptomic and epigenomic states of individual single cells has in recent years transformed our ability to measure and understand biological processes. Recent advancements have focused on increasing sensitivity and throughput to provide richer and deeper biological insights at the cellular level. The next frontier is the development of multiomic methods capable of analyzing multiple features from the same cell, such as the simultaneous measurement of the transcriptome and the chromatin accessibility of candidate regulatory elements.

A Survey of Near-Miss Dispensing Errors in Hospital Pharmacies in Japan: DEPP-J Study-Multi-Center Prospective Observational Study-.

The aim of this study was to determine the proportion of near-miss dispensing errors in hospital pharmacies in Japan. A prospective multi-center observational study was conducted between December 2018 and March 2019. The primary objective was to determine the proportion of near-miss dispensing errors in hospital pharmacy departments.
