Background And Purpose: There is inconsistency and lack of conceptual clarity regarding the concept of "recurrence" in diabetes-related foot ulcers. Therefore, the purpose of this concept analysis is to analyze the concept of recurrence-related to diabetes-related foot ulcer after the healing of a previous foot ulcer.

Method: The Rodger's evolutionary concept analysis method was employed to analyze the concept of recurrence in diabetes-related foot ulcers.

Electron transporting (n-type) polymeric mixed conductors are an exciting class of materials for devices with aqueous electrolyte interfaces, such as bioelectronic sensors, actuators, and soft charge storage systems. However, their charge transport performance falls short of their p-type counterparts, primarily due to electrochemical side reactions such as the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). To mitigate ORR, a common strategy in n-type organic semiconductor design focuses on lowering the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) level.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a complex chronic condition that places young adults aged 18-31 years at high risk for general and diabetes-related distress and poor cardiovascular health. Both general and diabetes distress are linked to higher A1C, a known risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD). The purpose of this cross-sectional quantitative descriptive study was to examine the associations between distress symptoms (general and diabetes) and cardiovascular health while considering covariates in young adults ages 18-31 years with T1D.

Background: Although cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among US adults of color, there is a limited understanding of cardiovascular health status, including health behaviors (sleep health, diet, physical activity, and nicotine exposure) and health factors (body mass index, blood lipids, blood glucose, and blood pressure).

Purpose/methods: The objective of this systematic review was to synthesize original research on racial and ethnic disparities in CVH among US adults aged 18 to 50 years using Life's Simple 7 and Life's Essential 8 metrics. Multiple electronic databases (PubMed, PsycINFO, and CINAHL) were searched for relevant original studies published in English until March 28, 2023.

Background: Supporting the sleep health of surrogate decision-makers of patients in the intensive care unit is a research priority. However, few studies have approached sleep health as a multidimensional construct, instead focusing on 1 or 2 dimensions in isolation.

Objective: To holistically examine the sleep health (satisfaction, timing, efficiency, duration) of surrogate decision-makers of critically ill patients.
