Polymeric Mixed Micelle-Loaded Hydrogel for the Ocular Delivery of Fexofenadine for Treating Allergic Conjunctivitis.

This study was designed to formulate a polymeric mixed micelle (PMM) formulation to sustainably release fexofenadine (FEX) to treat allergic conjunctivitis effectively. A 3 factorial design was employed where the studied factors were PL90G amount (X) and Pluronic (F127 and P123) mixture ratio (X), and the dependent variables were entrapment efficacy (EE, Y, %), particle size (PS, Y, nm), zeta potential (ZP, Y, mV), and the percent of drug released after 6 h (Q6h, Y, %). The optimized formula was blended with a hydrogel base to develop an FEX-PMM hydrogel, where the safety and efficiency of this hydrogel were evaluated using in vivo studies.

Observation of Yu-Shiba-Rusinov States and Inelastic Tunneling Spectroscopy for Intramolecule Magnetic Exchange Interaction Energy of Terbium Phthalocyanine (TbPc) Species Adsorbed on Superconductor NbSe.

We investigated the spin properties of the terbium phthalocyanine (TbPc) species adsorbed on the superconductor NbSe surface using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy. TbPc is a molecule in a class of single-molecule magnets (SMMs), and the use of superconductor electrodes attracts attention for the application to the devices using the spin degree of freedom. TbPc is a building block of TbPc and can reveal the spin component's behavior.

An Impact of Perceived Social Support on Old Age Well-Being Mediated by Spirituality, Self-esteem and Ego Integrity.

Good in physical health is a positive outcome in later life associated with well-being. The purpose of this study was to address the factors involved in friends, family and someone's special support that affect physical well-being and psychological well-being, mediated by the spirituality, self-esteem and ego integrity among older adults. Respondents (410) were selected through questionnaire sampling technique from the age of 61 years and above from the four different divisions of Punjab province of Pakistan.
