The abstract highlights the global issue of environmental contamination caused by organic compounds and the exploration of various methods for its resolution. One such approach involves the utilization of titanium dioxide (TiO) as a photocatalyst in conjunction with natural adsorption materials like kaolin. The study employed a modeling-based approach to investigate the sustainable photocatalytic degradation of acidic dyes using a Jordanian nano-kaolin-TiO composite material and solar energy.

Article Synopsis
  • - This study examines how the composition and thermal treatments influence the structural and electrical characteristics of sprayed thin films of MoWO with varying molybdenum content (x = 0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20).
  • - Techniques like FE-SEM, EDX, and FTIR were used to analyze the films, revealing important vibrational modes and significant changes in surface morphology due to the Mo dopant.
  • - Results indicate that the conduction mechanism shifts at about 393K, affected by temperature and Mo concentration, highlighting MoWO's potential for future applications in photonic and optoelectronic devices.

The industrial and medical sectors have a great interest in chitosan due to its unique properties, such as abundance, renewability, non-toxicity, antibacterial activity, biodegradability, and polyfunctionality. In this work, two modified chitosan Schiff bases (ChSB-1 and ChSB-2) were made using condensation methods, and their potential as corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in 1 M HCl was investigated using chemical and electrochemical techniques. The ChSB-1 and ChSB-2 inhibitors exhibited remarkable inhibitory performance, as evidenced by the mass loss data, which showed 89.

This research is being conducted to learn more about various compounds and their potential uses in various fields such as renewable energy, electrical conductivity, the study of optoelectronic properties, the use of light-absorbing materials in photovoltaic device thin-film LEDs, and field effect transistors (FETs). AgZF3 (Z = Sb, Bi) compounds, which are simple, cubic, ternary fluoro-perovskites, are studied using the FP-LAPW and low orbital algorithm, both of which are based on DFT. Structure, elasticity and electrical and optical properties are only some of the many features that can be predicted.
