Efficacy of Occipital Nerve Stimulation to Treat Refractory Occipital Headaches: A Single-Institution Study of 60 Patients.

Background: Occipital nerve stimulation (ONS) is shown to be effective in treating various forms of headache. Most studies describe the treatment of occipital neuralgia (ON), but in many patients, the clinical description could also correspond to cervicogenic headache (CGH) or occipital migraine (OM). These different entities (ON, CGH, and OM) may be grouped together under the term occipital headaches.

Dronabinol use in France between 2004 and 2017.

Objectives: To investigate prescription practices for dronabinol, a pure extract of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, prescribed for refractory chronic pain in France since 2004.

Design: A descriptive study based on answers to a questionnaire sent to dronabinol prescribers throughout metropolitan France between June and July 2017.

Main Outcomes Measures: We assessed the type of prescribers including place of work (hospital, clinic or private practice) and their specialty.

Extended spectrum of MBD5 mutations in neurodevelopmental disorders.

Intellectual disability (ID) is a clinical sign reflecting diverse neurodevelopmental disorders that are genetically and phenotypically heterogeneous. Just recently, partial or complete deletion of methyl-CpG-binding domain 5 (MBD5) gene has been implicated as causative in the phenotype associated with 2q23.1 microdeletion syndrome.
