Introduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC) staging is essential for effective treatment planning and prognosis. While platelet indices have shown promise in indicating CRC aggressiveness, a platelet index-based predictor for CRC staging has not been established in Indonesia. This study aimed to explore the relationship between platelet indices and CRC stage and to develop a predictive model and application.

The healing effect can be measured by epidermal growth factor (EGF) levels. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of PRP and SVF injections on EGF levels during the healing of full-thickness burns in Wistar rats.

Background: This study investigated the levels of bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2), osteocalcin, and 3D CT Hounsfield units following hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in patients with cleft lip and palate (CLP) undergoing alveolar bone grafts to provide a pilot evaluation of the role of HBOT in osteogenesis.
Methods: This prospective, quasi-experimental, pre-post-intervention study evaluated seven patients with CLP receiving HBOT after single-stage reconstructions with alveolar bone grafts. The outcomes included the serum levels of BMP-2 and osteocalcin and the 3D CT Hounsfield units obtained before and after the surgery, and after the five HBOT sessions, to a total of 12 measurements.
Background: Breast cancer (BC) is the second most frequent cancer-related death among women worldwide. Factors influencing BC patients' survival include histopathological grade, histopathological type, stage, hormonal receptors, and number of mitotic images.
Objective: To compare the tumor size, histopathological grade, and molecular type of BC patients.
Introduction: Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) application play important roles in the healing process by increasing basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF) secretion. This research assesses the effect of combined SVF and PRP local injection on bFGF levels, using an anal trauma model in Wistar rats.
Method: Twenty-eight adult Wistar rats were divided into three groups.
