During a study of morphological variations in bent-wing bats (Miniopterus), we found that specimens originating from the Cao Bang province of Vietnam, identified as M. fuliginosus, were closer in size to the larger species, M. magnater.

We have studied for the first time the phylogenetic relationships between the majority of supraspecific taxa of the subtribe Pipistrellina based on the analysis of the sequences of three nuclear genes (RAG2, APOB, and DMP1). Our data support the monophyly of the subtribe itself, but definitely show that the genus Pipistrellus in the modern sense is paraphyletic with respect to noctules, Nyctalus, and thick thumb pipistrelles, Glischropus (which both are morphologically distinct taxa).

Vascular disorders account for a significant proportion of acute loss of vision. In recent years, scientific and technical progress in ophthalmology has provided new opportunities in the study of vascular pathology, significantly expanding the understanding of their pathogenesis. The article presents a clinical case of a patient with acute retinal ischemia syndrome who had retinal blood flow disturbances studied using optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging.

Subjects And Methods: The study evaluated patients' clinical state with the Diagnostic Interview for Psychoses (DIP), and assessed language and communication disturbances (LCD) with the RL-CC-SR in all participants (213 healthy controls (HC), 83 SZ patients, 31 SZ first-degree relatives). Data from the current sample of SZ (n=50), and HC (n=213) was analysed to calculate the relationships between LCD, social and clinical variables using descriptive statistics methods, T-test and Pearson's correlations (SPSS-26, 2019).
