Objectives: ZR-202-CoV and ZR-202a-CoV are novel recombinant vaccines containing 25 µg of the prototype (Wuhan strain) or B.1.351 strain (Beta variant) SARS-CoV-2 S-protein expressed in CHO cells, respectively, adjuvanted with Al(OH) and CpG-ODN.

Evaluation of monkeypox- and vaccinia-virus neutralizing antibodies before and after smallpox vaccination: A sero-epidemiological study.

Since May 2022, several countries outside of Africa experienced multiple clusters of monkeypox virus (MPXV)-associated disease. In the present study, anti-MPXV and anti-vaccinia virus (VACV) neutralizing antibody responses were evaluated in two cohorts of subjects from the general Italian population (one half born before the WHO-recommended end of smallpox vaccination in 1980, the other half born after). Higher titers (either against MPXV or VACV) were observed in the cohort of individuals born before the interruption of VACV vaccination.

A Human-Scale Clinically Ready Electromagnetic Navigation System for Magnetically Responsive Biomaterials and Medical Devices.

Magnetic navigation systems are used to precisely manipulate magnetically responsive materials enabling the realization of new minimally invasive procedures using magnetic medical devices. Their widespread applicability has been constrained by high infrastructure demands and costs. The study reports on a portable electromagnetic navigation system, the Navion, which is capable of generating a large magnetic field over a large workspace.
