Experience of development of the national surgical interventions coding system in Russia.

The paper discusses development issues of surgical procedures coding systems for use at the national and international levels within the health information systems. The work was carried out using the Russian and foreign experiences, including international standard ISO/FDIS 1828:2012. The development system structure contains basic categories of medical entities (axes): surgical deed and surgical subdeed, objects, site and interventional equipment.

[Automatic monitoring of the myoelectric activity of the small intestine in peritonitis].

To monitor small intestinal myoelectrical activity in patients with peritonitis, the authors used direct electromyography. While processing the electromyograms, they calculated the frequency and amplitude of complexes, the standard deviation of complex duration, the amplitude of spike potentials and spike activity. Data on 41 patients were analyzed by using statistical methods.

[2-stage plastic repair of the flexor tendons of the fingers: the indications and technic].

Based on their experiences with treatment of 58 patients with consequences of severe traumas of the hand the authors analyze and substantiate indications for using the method of the two-stages tendoplasty of finger flexors. The technique of implantation of polychlorvinyl rods is described in detail. Relatively high frequency of additional procedures on different anatomical structures of the hand is noted.
