Cord blood (CB)-derived chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-natural killer (NK) cells targeting CD19 have been shown to be effective against B cell malignancies. While human CD56 NK cells can be expanded , NK cells can also be differentiated from hematopoietic progenitor cells. It is still unclear whether CAR-NK cells originate from mature NK cells or NK progenitor cells in CB.

Introduction: A dental humanoid robot, SIMROID, is able to replicate the actions characteristic of human beings and enable training for communicating with patients and coping with unexpected situations. This study assessed user experiences via a survey questionnaire following hands-on training on the SIMROID.

Materials And Methods: A total of 112 participants, consisting of 50 high school students who visited AUSD (Asahi University School of Dentistry) to participate in open campus events, 42 fourth-year students at AUSD and 20 dental students from Mexico State Autonomy University, University of Siena and Peking University took the survey.

The simple suspension method (SSM) involves administering tablets or capsules using a tube after disintegration and suspension in hot water without crushing or opening the capsule. Particularly, for anticancer drugs, it is an excellent method of administration that reduces the risk of exposure during dispensing. In contrast, information on SSM for individual drugs is insufficient.

A 25-year-old woman with a history of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia over ten years ago was referred to our hospital with a chief complaint of leukoblastosis. She was participating in a JPLSG (Japanese Pediatric Leukemia/Lymphoma Study Group) clinical study at that time. We diagnosed ALL relapse by multi-color flow cytometric analysis of bone marrow samples at admission, with reference to previous JPLSG data.
