This study aimed to assess the feasibility and retention rates of pedicled thymic flaps to enhance understanding of bronchial stump coverage. A retrospective analysis of 22 consecutive patients who underwent anatomical lung resection followed by bronchial stump coverage with pedicled thymic flaps between January 2017 and December 2022 was conducted. The procedure was performed using a minimally invasive 3-port video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery technique for all patients with no complications related to graft harvest or fixation.

Surgical resection is indicated for localized pulmonary mycosis refractory to antifungal agents. This study investigated the feasibility and outcomes of minimally invasive surgery for pulmonary mycosis patients complicated with HM.

The postoperative course of the graft tissue after bronchial stump coverage remains unclear. We retrospectively analyzed 44 patients who underwent anatomical lung resection followed by bronchial stump coverage using free pericardial fat grafts. All patients underwent minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively investigated 1,895 patients with lung cancer who underwent pulmonary resection from 2011 to 2018.
This report discusses the treatment and outcomes of three-port video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) thymectomy for thymoma. We reviewed perioperative results of 159 thymoma cases( excluding thymic carcinoma) over 16 years. Thoracoscopic surgery was indicated for Masaoka stagesⅠ to Ⅲ, tumor diameter up to 12 cm, and resection of surrounding organs up to the lung, pericardium+reconstruction, internal thoracic artery and vein, left brachiocephalic vein, and phrenic nerve+reconstruction.
