Description of two new species of mole crickets from the genus Gryllotalpa (Orthoptera: Gryllotalpidae) in Cameroon, with a key to the Afrotropical parva group species.

A survey was conducted in two successive years, from March 2016 to March 2018, in three regions of Cameroon, during which two new species were collected in two regions and described. These two species, Gryllotalpa cameroonensis sp. nov.

Background: The rapid spread of pyrethroid resistance has led to a change in strategy, going from pyrethroid-based nets to PBO + pyrethroid-treated nets. Various aphid species, including Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae), are considered important pests of okra and other vegetables. Previous studies under 1 environment in Cameroon, Central Africa, had found multiple okra genotypes with resistance to A. gossypii.

Ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) and termites (Blattodea: Termitoidae) in the diet of wild white-bellied pangolin (Phataginus tricuspis) in forest-savanna habitats of Cameroon.

The white-bellied pangolin Phataginus tricuspis (Rafinesque 1821) is a semiarboreal species occurring in tropical sub-Saharan Africa. It is the world's most trafficked African pangolin species based on volumes recorded in seizures. Reintroduction of confiscated live pangolins and ex-situ rearing are being explored worldwide as a conservation action.

Taxonomy review of the genus Brachytrupes (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) with the description of a new species and key to the species.

The taxonomy of the genus Brachytrupes Serville, 1838, known as Giant Burrowing Crickets is revised. Brachytrupes includes thirteen species, with B. megacephalus Lefebvre, 1827 designated as type species to promote nomenclature stability.
