Structure of Ni(II) Inclusion Complex in Solid/Solution States and the Enhancement of Catalytic Behavior in Electrochemical Hydrogen Production.

In this article, we investigate the encapsulation of K[Ni(maleonitriledithiolate)] () within a host molecule, β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), via single-crystal X-ray analysis. An inclusion complex, K{[Ni(maleonitriledithiolate)]@(β-CD)} (), was constructed from and two β-CDs. The anion guest Ni complex included a host cavity, constructed using two β-CDs, and the Ni atom of the anion was located between the two hydrophilic primary rims.

Efficacy of imeglimin treatment versus metformin dose escalation on glycemic control in subjects with type 2 diabetes treated with a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor plus low-dose metformin: A multicenter, prospective, randomized, open-label, parallel-group comparison study (MEGMI study).

Aims: To compare the efficacy of adding imeglimin versus that of metformin dose escalation on glycemic control in subjects with type 2 diabetes treated with a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor plus low-dose metformin (500-1000 mg/day).

Materials And Methods: In this multicentre, open-labelled, prospective, randomized, parallel-group comparison study, the addition of imeglimin (2000 mg/day) or metformin escalation was applied for 24 weeks in eligible subjects. The primary endpoint was the mean change in glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) over 24 weeks.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Co(CBrO)(CHN)(HO)] or [Co(Brbdc)(im)(HO)] , comprises half of Co ion, tetra-bromo-benzene-dicarboxylate (Brbdc), imidazole (im) and a water mol-ecule. The Co ion exhibits a six-coordinated octa-hedral geometry with two oxygen atoms of the Brbdc ligand, two oxygen atoms of the water mol-ecules, and two nitro-gen atoms of the im ligands. The carboxyl-ate group is nearly perpendicular to the benzene ring and shows monodentate coordination to the Co ion.

Anatomical Landmarks of the Facial Artery and Vein for Intraoral Anastomosis: A Cadaveric Study.

Background: Intraoral anastomosis is a widely used technique for microvascular alveolar ridge augmentation and midface reconstruction. However, the predictable anatomical positioning of facial structures, such as the vessels, parotid duct, and facial nerve in the buccal region, has remained unclear. Therefore, we aimed to obtain the anatomical characteristics of these locations to establish surgical landmarks for the intraoral anastomosis of facial vessels.
